Pat Hickcox is a retired Sergeant with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and a founding board member of the Arizona Tactical Officers Association. Pat served 8 years in the U.S. Army, including a combat deployment to Iraq from 2004 to 2005 as a Civil Affairs Team Sergeant.

Pat developed the course curriculum and has trained hundreds of law enforcement and government agency personnel on night vision devices. Emerging Tactical Solutions is dedicated to the advancement of night vision use, capabilities, and tactics within the Law Enforcement tactical community. Pat is the owner of Emerging Tactical Solutions.

A Full-Time Law Enforcement Officer (LEO), husband, and father. Over nine years of experience in his department, as well as a writer for - “Breach Bang Clear” and other social media pages for industry companies that he has a close relationship with.

“I run Fifty Shades of FDE myself. I am a part of the Muzzle Flash Media team and manage that page as well. Originally, my Instagram page only featured original content. It didn’t take long for me to realize that there are a whole lot more shades of FDE out there and so I made my page a hybrid with original posts along with reposts of high-quality content that I come across while making sure that credit is always given to the original owner.
